MAN ARRESTED IN REYNOLDS COUNTY ON FELONY DRUG CHARGE Authorities say a Redford man was arrested Thursday evening in Reynolds County on a felony drug charge.
According to the Highway Patrol, 31 year old Peter Stahl was taken into custody on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance.
Stahl is also facing charges of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and failure to register a motor vehicle.
PALACE OF PRAISE TO PRESENT SOUNDS OF CHRISTMAS BEGINNING ON SUNDAY The sounds of Christmas will be returning to the Palace of Praise church in Poplar Bluff beginning on Sunday.
The Sounds of Christmas is an original production written and produced by the Palace of Praise and performed by members of the church.
There will be four nightly performances beginning at 7 pm on December 13th through the 16th. Admission to the show is free.
Also returning this year is the Sounds of Christmas Dinner Theater which will be held at 5 pm before the shows on Monday through Wednesday. The cost is $12 per person with the ticket also getting you a reserved seat to the production of the Sounds of Christmas.

ARMED MAN ARRESTED ON ARKANSAS STATE UNIVERSITY CAMPUS Authorities in Jonesboro arrested an armed man Thursday on the campus of Arkansas State University.
47-year-old Brad Kenneth Bartelt was taken into custody Thursday after driving his truck onto the campus and triggering a lockdown.
Bartelt was reportedly armed with a shotgun and carried containers of gasoline and propane. He was taken into custody about an hour after the incident began.
Jonesboro Police said they had received a call Wednesday about a Facebook post Bartelt wrote in which he stated he was homicidal and suicidal and referred to an incident with the Social Security Administration.
The Jonesboro police chief said it seemed Bartelt posed a greater threat to himself during Thursday's incident. There were no injuries reported.
CARUTHERSVILLE MAN FLOWN TO MEMPHIS HOSPITAL FOLLOWING SINGLE VEHICLE WRECK A Caruthersville man was seriously injured Wednesday night after he was involved in a single vehicle wreck in Pemiscot County.
Officials with the Missouri State Highway Patrol tell KWOC News that 22 year old Corey Pate was driving on Highway 164 when his vehicle travelled off the roadway, hit a culvert, and overturned.
Pate suffered serious injuries in the wreck and was flown to a Memphis hospital.
SOUTHEAST MISSOURI FOOD BANK TO HOLD MOBILE FOOD PANTRY IN POPLAR BLUFF The Southeast Missouri Food Bank has scheduled a food giveaway to be held shortly before Christmas day in Poplar Bluff.
The Mobile Food Pantry will be held at 5:30 pm on December 22nd in the River Radio Parking Lot on West Pine Street. Attendees should bring their own bag or box.

PIPE REPLACEMENT TO CAUSE CLOSURE OF BUTLER COUNTY ROAD TODAY Route F in Butler County will be closed today for a pipe replacement.
According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, Route F will be closed between County Roads 488 and 484 from 8 am to 2 pm.
