ACCIDENTAL DROWNING RULED AS CAUSE OF DEATH FOR MAN IN NORTHEAST ARKANSAS
Officials in Clay County say that a body was found over the weekend.
Clay County Sheriff Terry Miller tells KWOC News that the body was found Saturday evening in Black River.
An autopsy confirmed the identity of the body as Dennis Franks. The incident has been ruled as an accidental drowning.
DEADLINE APPROACHING FOR VOTING IN PINK GLOVE DANCE COMPETITION
Voting is almost finished for the 2016 Pink Glove Dance Competition.
The Medline Pink Glove Dance video competition is a breast cancer prevention campaign to honor those who have been affected by the disease and raise money for a cure.
Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center is participating in the competition with the goal of winning a $15,000 donation for the United Cancer Assistance Network.

Voting will come to an end this Friday, September 23rd. The winner will then be announced on September 30th.
DAY TWO AT THE STODDARD COUNTY FAIR
The Rodeo is on deck for tonight at the Stoddard County Fair.
The rodeo will begin at 7 pm tonight at Arena A. Officials say that admission will be five dollars.
Other events on the schedule for tonight include sheep and goat judging as well as a performance by Tyler Feller. Both events are set to begin at 6 pm.

WAYNE COUNTY AUTHORITIES INVESTIGATING THEFT OF FIREARMS
Wayne County authorities are asking for the public’s help after multiple firearms were recently stolen in the Williamsville area.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department, two firearms were stolen Tuesday along with a blue Dell laptop. One of the firearms is a Marlin 30-30 with a camo sling. The other is a camo Mossberg 835 ultra mag shotgun.
Officials believe the firearms are still in the Williamsville area. Anyone who has information about the thefts is asked to contact the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department.
HAYTI MAN ARRESTED ON MULTIPLE FELONY DRUG CHARGES
A Hayti man has been taken into custody in Pemiscot County on multiple felony drug charges.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 41 year old Greg Garner was arrested Monday night on felony charges of possession of a controlled substance for methamphetamine and manufacturing a controlled substance for marijuana.
Garner is also facing a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
ANNUAL WOMEN AWARE CONFERENCE TO BE HELD NEXT WEEK AT BLACK RIVER COLISEUM

ROUTE MM IN STODDARD AND DUNKLIN COUNTIES TO BE REDUCED TODAY FOR PAVEMENT REPAIRS
Route MM in Stoddard and Dunklin County will be reduced to one lane today and tomorrow so Missouri Department of Transportation crews can perform pavement repairs.
The work zone will be located from Route U to Route J.
According to officials, work is scheduled to take place from 7 am to 6 pm on both days.
